CÉLINE Slate Grey Croc-Stamped ‘Phantom Large Luggage’ Tote – SOLD

The “Phantom Luggage” has been an iconic style for the brand since 2010, when Phoebe Philo became the new design director for Cèline. It has taken off as an “IT” bag, worn by celebrities, and has since been featured in every magazine in its different incarnations of styles and textures. The Phantom is one of the largest styles, measuring 11.75″ [W] x 11″ [H] x 10″ [D], and has extended sides that reach 21 inches in length. The open body of the piece is easy to fill for a weekend away, or a great carry-all for your everyday needs. The front of the bag has a single zipped pocket with braided leather zipper pull, and the interior also features one zipped pocket as well. The gorgeous crocodile texture of the slate-colored nubuck leather adds additional luxury to its intrigue, style, and attitude. The “LOVE Binetti line caters to the traveller and nomad by heart; the modern girl with that city-slicker edge.”* This beautiful navy and black crochet-contrast dress brings a bit of romantic countryside to the summery streets of the City, and Diego’s time spent collaborating in Japan can be seen as influence in the deep indigo dye and unique textural combinations. A navy bodice speckled with black thread meets a bright blue pinstriped slip, which shines through the black crocheted main panel, leading to black netted mesh filled with a grid of denim-like patches.
