HERMÉS 2015 Soft Pink “Evelyne GM 111” Purse – SOLD

We all know the Hermés orange, but for Spring, you should match the budding flowers in this soft light pink.  Show your love for this French designer by displaying the large perforated H along the front of the purse, or turn it around for any day you need to stay more incognito.   Crafted out of the brand’s Epsom pebbled leather in the pink confetti color; a fun and unexpected shade for this versatile cross body style.  It is titled Evelyne III as the third generation of this style includes both a pocket on the back and an adjustable strap, which previous generations did not include. In the early 2000’s Louis Vuitton experimented with a line of purses made from a linen blend fabric.  The results were very well received, since it re-imagined the classic logo by pairing it with a texturally intriguing fabric.  This fabric has since been discontinued, so you have to find these treasures in shops like Seams to Fit!  Today we have a unique olive green small crossbody with a dark brown leather strap and front clasp.  Gold hardware finishes this petite purse in a shining and classy way, complete with a full gold zippered top.  In great condition, despite its age.  Measures 8.5″ [W] x 4.5″ [H] x 2″ [D] with a 20-22″ adjustable shoulder strap drop.  Originally retailed for $690.  Priced at $399. Ippolita Rostango began designing jewelry in 1999, after many years as a student of sculpture in Florence.  “As an artist I have always wanted to translate my love of sculpture into a form of wearable art.”***  Each piece is hand-made, with the precision and aesthetic of a sculptor, but also brings a bit of colorful magic, playing on feminine inspiration and empowerment.  This piece is comprised of hammered sterling silver, and has eight stones in two rows of four, sitting perfectly opposite each other.  The stones range from faceted clear quartz, to smokey quartz, to hematite doublets, to mother-of-pearl doublet stones.  This piece measures 7.5 inches along the inner circumference.  Priced at $299. One of Dimitiri Rybaltcheko’s earliest designs, this shawl was first created in 1996 and takes us to the Himalayan Mountains.  The title which means “Prayers To The Wind” celebrates the Buddhist culture that prevails in this fierce climate, complete with prayer flags, Buddhists of all ages and the gorgeous skyline of this mountainous region.  A beautiful mix of blues create a vivid background for the colorful clothing each Buddhist wears along the border edge.  Measures a 55 x 55 inches square.  Retailed for $1,100, priced at $499. HERMÈS ‘Kosmima’ by Julia Abadie Cashmere/Silk Shawl – SOLD

We now travel to ancient Greece in this next fine knit cashmere silk shawl.  Designed by Julia Adabie in 1994 this shawl has the traditional colors that Hermès collectors are looking for, red, blue, and gold.  The title loosely translates to a Jewelry Trade Show in the Greek language.  You can see from all the gold medallion jewelry that this certainly celebrates the artisan culture of Ancient Greece.  A large Medusa head is centered in this design with loads of jewel encrusted medallion style necklaces framing the whole piece.  Edge of shawl is outlined in a solid red border.  Size 55 x 55 inches square.  Retailed for $1,100, priced at $499. Our last destination on our tour of the Hermès world takes us to the lively city of Venice, Italy.  This city is known as being one of the original epicenters of the theater, so this shawl depicts a variety of actors and masks that will help you create your own character.  Between each theater motif you can see water to depict the famous canals that run throughout the city.  Mainly blue and red with pops of yellow and green, this shawl is a vibrant statement for the arts.  Measures a 55 x 55 inches square.  Retailed for $1,100, priced at $499. LOUIS VUITTON Black Epi Leather ‘Tilsitt Pochette’ – SOLD

We always say fashion trends come full circle and the evolution of the fanny pack to belt bag is one perfect example.  This black epi leather pouch was originally designed in 1991 when fanny packs were all the rage, but is equally usable today, when the practicality of a hands free bag has come back into major fashion.  We might call them belt bags today, but they symbolize the fact that easy to use pieces will always have their rightful place in this world.  Flap front has a snap button clasp that opens to a leather lined compartment that has no other organizing pockets.  Belt loops in back measure 1 1/4″ wide, so can only be used with your thin to medium width belts.   Size 6.75″ [W] x 5″ [H].  Priced at $229. H. STERN 18K Princess Cut Diamond Ring, Size 6.25 – SOLD

H. Stern is highly treasured jewelry designer from Brazil, so much so, that they are commonly referred to the “Tiffany of Brazil”.  This solid 18K yellow gold band and bezel creates a simple square frame for this sparkling princess cut diamond that will shine alone or stacked with other bands.  Diamond weighs in at 0.29 cts., with a G-H color range and a VS2-SI1 clarity.  Size 6.25.  Sold with current retail value paperwork.  Originally retailed approximately $2,600.  Our price is $1,300. 14K Necklace and Diamond Bezel Surrounding a 22K 1945 Mexican Dos Pesos Coin Pendant

Wear a small piece of Mexican history along your collar with this 1945 Dos Pesos bullion coin pendant necklace.  This historic coin has been modernized with a 14k white gold bezel detailed with 19 round brilliant cut diamonds.  Diamonds  measure a total of 0.39 carats with a G-H-I color range and SI1 clarity rating.  The yellow gold of the coin is matched and continued with the 14k yellow gold coiled rope chain that the pendant hangs from.  Pendant is easily removed to use chain for other pedants if desired.  Pendant measures just over an inch in length, including diamond bail, and 5/8″ in width, hangs from a 16″ chain.  Sold with current appraisal, valuing the necklace at $3,000.  Our price is $1,500.

H. STERN 18K White Gold, Amethyst and Diamond Ring, Size 6.5 – SOLD

Another stunning example of H. Stern’s designs is this statement amethyst cocktail ring exploding with diamonds.  One amazingly large and deeply colored amethyst sits at the center of this crown setting.  This stone is a square faceted step cut measuring 10.61 x 10.16 mm and weighing 5.69 carats.  A pierced bowed out gallery creates a flower like setting with diamonds encrusting each of the 16 petal leafs.  A total of 68 diamonds adorn the setting with diamonds totaling an estimated weight of 0.90 cttw, with a G-H color and VS-1-2 clarity range.  Size 6.5.  With appraisal, the ring is valued at $3,300, our price is $1,800. Asymmetry in jewelry is one of our favorite modern details and this ring has it all, diamonds, pearls and an avant garde setting!  One large South Sea Pearl is surrounded by 9 baguette cut diamonds, and 5 round brilliant cut diamonds in a free form ballerina motif.  Platinum band has a squared off base with a split reverse tapering side shank.   South Sea Pearl measures at  12 x 11.28 mm with a high luster of white and silver tones.  Diamonds measure a total weight of 3.62 carats with a F-G-H color and VS1-SI1 clarity range.  Size 5.75.  Sold with current appraisal, the ring is valued at $9,300, our price is $4,500.
