BOTTEGA VENETA Black Woven Crossbody Purse – SOLD –

Your daily haul just got the royal treatment when you move all your essentials into this super supple woven leather crossbody bag from Italian master, Bottega Veneta.  Bottega’s intreciatto weave has been their signature design since the company first started back in 1966.  Another defining characteristic is their simple and unadorned styles, they even had an ad campaign in the 70’s that was “When your own initials are enough”.  Their dedication to quality over flashy branding has made them a perpetually coveted designer.  This simple, yet perfectly functional crossbody style features a double zipper closure, knotted leather hooks that attach to the long strap and a buckle on strap for minor length adjustments.  Interior is lined in beige suede and includes one zippered, one open slot pocket and a matching mirror for those last minute touch ups.  Measures 9″ [W] x 8″ [H] x 2″ [D] with a 23″ maximum strap drop. BRUNELLO CUCINELLI Gunmetal and Dark Brown Lace Up Booties Size 7 1/2-8 – SOLD

Lace up boots are one of the hottest and most practical trends in fashion right now.  Street wear fashionistas across the globe have embraced this flat and comfy style, pairing it with feminine dresses as easily as edgy skinny jeans and leather ensembles.  This style adds a little color dimension in the neutral palette of a pebbled gunmetal and dark brown leather combination.  Brunello did not miss an opportunity to add his signature silver micro bead monilli detail, as it lines up the back heel of these gorgeous boots.  In excellent condition, sold with original box, extra laces and dustbag.  Italian size 37 1/2, but run a little large, fitting like a size 7 1/2-8.  Retailed for approximately $1,200.  Priced at $399. CHANEL Tweed Combat Booties Size 8- 8 1/2 – SOLD

Our second pair of lace up boots have a textural explosion that will add dimension to any outfit.  These mid calf booties from 2016 feature a mix of grey, tan, cream and navy yarn threads that are woven in the signature Chanel tweed style.  Some yarns are larger than others to create a visually intriguing surface.  The grey felted wool that trims the lace up front and ankle edge, adds a grounding element against the mixed tweed.  Finished with a simple silver CC detail on back ankle, silver lace holes and a chunky lug sole.  In excellent condition.  French size 39, fit like a size 8 – 8 1/2.  Retailed for $1,450 in 2016.  Priced at $649. DAVID YURMAN Sterling Classic Cable Cuff with Iolite and 14k Tips – SOLD

You are all lucky that we have another one of our best selling pieces, David Yurman’s classic cable bangle.  This one has a hint of mystery within, as the dark purple Iolite stone tips first look black, but when the light hits it right, a hint of purple/blue color emerges from the depths.  The rounded cabachon cut stones are adorned with a triple bar detail of 14k yellow gold, contrasting the sterling cable main body of cuff.  This cuff measures at 5 mm across and 6 1/2″ in circumference.  Retailed for approximately $495, priced at $299.  SOLD

CLIFTON NICHOLSON Dragonfly Cross Necklace – SOLD

Most of our clients are familiar with Clifton Nicholson by now, but for those of you who are new to the blog, Clifton hand casts some of the most detailed pieces of jewelry, all inspired by the nature that surrounds his farmhouse art studio in rural Indiana.  The necklace we have to offer today features a large sterling casting of a dragonfly with wings spread out in a cross shape.  Clifton almost always pairs his castings with a woven silk cord, and this one is a black style measuring 58″ in total length with sterling pointed tips.  Meant to be worn at any length you want, this silk cord can be tied off at any point with the option to wear the sterling tips doubled up in the front or hang them long in back.  Pendant measures 3″ long and 2 3/4″ wide for a stunning statement.  Priced at $299.  SOLD

 

 

 

GURHAN 24k and Rhodochrosite Earrings – SOLD

While most jewelers hesitate to work in 24k gold, Gurhan has made it his signature.  His  obsession with the brilliant color that radiates from this highly saturated gold means that the love that goes into creating a piece shines on forever.  Each of his pieces are hand crafted, in fact you can often see the individual hammering details in each piece of gold.  The first pair of earrings we are offering today feature a large cabochon rhodochrosite stone sitting in a hammered yellow gold thin frame.  Typically, this stone is a light pink, but these polished stones are a rich amber toned ruby color, amplified by the 24k glow that surrounds them.  Stone is a whopping 72.60 carats, measuring .9″ long x .7″ wide, and is held up in a supportive way with a French hinged post back.  Retailed for $4,100.  Priced at $1,900.  SOLD

GURHAN 24k Balloon Ball Drop Earrings  –  SOLD

Our second pair of earrings that demonstrate Gurhan’s expertise in gold craftsmanship, are these stunning hoops with a ballooned ball drop, perfect for everyday, or special occasions.  Since these earrings are crafted purely out of 24k yellow gold, you can really see the hand hammered love that was put into creating them.  A post back huggie hoop rests at top and connects to an oval link that then holds a puffed up ball bead at base. ELIZABETH LOCKE 19K 16mm Hoop Earrings with Pink and Blue Intaglio Glass Enhancers  – SOLD- 

A magical pair of earrings, and interchangeable, these 19k hammered yellow gold 16mm huggie hoops can be worn on their own or enhanced with the most brilliant pink or deep navy intaglio glass drops.  The glass is carved for the bird-lover with two cranes in each ear.  The rose pink intaglio glass has three small pink sapphires trimmed in Locke’s signature granulation.  The dark blue glass is trimmed with iolite stones.  The hoops on their own retail for $1,425, and the enhancers are $1,950 each.  This set totals $5,325 in retail value, but our price is $3,000.  SOLD

ELIZABETH LOCKE 19K and Smokey Quartz Intaglio Ring, Size 5.75

For the bird-lover, this gorgeous smokey quartz intaglio-carved ring is unique to Elizabeth’s designs, as this piece is a carved stone, instead of the typical glass.  The 20mm quartz cabochon is carved with an eagle carrying an olive branch; a symbol of both power and peace.  The stone is set in a bezel of 19k hammered yellow gold with four granulated “Triads” even spaced throughout the frame.  With box, size 5.75.  This regal ring originally retailed for $4,625.  Our price is $2,500.

Sumptuous and deliciously juicy, this dark aqua-colored “London Blue Topaz” is perfectly square, faceted, and raised from its 18k yellow gold setting.  All edges are curved, yet maintain an architectural quality, and the blue stone has a “tiger’s eye” effect as the light moves from top to bottom.  The stone measures 13 x 13 mm and is considered their medium size in the “Nudo Collection”.  The ring fits a size 6.  Originally retailing $3,250, our price is $1,700. 18K, MABÉ PEARL, and OPAL Clip Earrings

A truly stunning pair clip earrings: pinkish-grey 12mm round mabé pearls sit in a ridged 18k bezel setting, while 18mm long opal daggers hang from an 18k gold hinge.  The opals have a green to blue “play in color” and graduate from 8mm from the top to a narrow 2mm point.  These magnificent earrings hang two inches from the ear, and weigh a total of 22.17 grams.  With appraisal, these unique earrings are valued at $2,195, our price is $1,100.

CLIFTON NICHOLSON:

“Clifton Nicholson is an American sculptor and jewelry designer who grew up in Indiana where, from an early age, he developed his sculpting skills by carving soap.  He graduated in 1967 with a Master’s in jewelry and metal design, with a minor in weaving.  Nicholson’s jewelry is known for its use of natural materials, such as feathers, uncut crystal, cowrie shells, petrified beetles and mother-of-pearl, which he combined into sculptural, one-of-a-kind forms.”****

Clifton Nicholson pieces are often composed of castings of flora and fauna, but this piece is a sleek and bold strand of graduated sterling balls that hang long; a full 45.5 inches of sterling.  Each end of the necklace has Clifton’s signature black woven silk cord with sterling tips that wrap back around neck to create a tie in front between silver strands, creating a total length of 88 inches.  A stunningly simple work of art that is not without significance.  Priced at $499. LOUIS VUITTON Brown ‘Marylebone GM Damier Ebene’ Shoulder Bag – SOLD

From the 2014 Collection, this handsome handbag is in like-new condition.  The “Damier” checkered signature canvas is in a rounded tote style, and has two leather top handles, which sit comfortably on the shoulder.  The open top can be secured with a clip clasp just inside the upper center of the bag, and the sides can expand ever so slightly with hidden snaps along the perimeter.  The “Marylebone” opens to reveal brown suede lining, and a large zipped pocket along the back, with two fairly large open pockets along the front side.  The base of the bag has four “feet” for additional durability.  Size 12.5″ [W] x 11.75″ [H] x 6″ [D], with a shoulder drop of 9 inches.  In near new condition, with dust bag.  The “Marylebone GM Damier Ebene” shoulder bag originally retailed for $1,810, our price is $1,200. A traditional shoe made modern with its pointed toe and unique color-blocked combination.  Versatile from day to night, and perfect for any season, these navy leather loafers by Céline are delightfully contrasted with a hunter green vamp, and the pointed toe gives them a bit of stylish flare.  Size 7.5 (European 38).  These fun flats originally retailed approximately $750, our price is $249.

CHANEL Vintage Gold-Tone Button Clip Earrings – SOLD

From Chanel’s 1997 Fall Collection, these stunning clip earrings are fabulously bold, while still maintaining an organic, neutral finish.  The gold-tone ridged frame surrounds a raised brass “button” center, and Chanel’s trademark CC’s sit along the base, adding to their glamour.  Size 30mm x 35mm.  With box. DAVID YURMAN 5mm Sterling ‘Classic Cable Cuff’ with 14K and Blue Topaz – SOLD

A fantastic bracelet for the Yurman lover; perfect to wear on its own, or paired with a stack of collectible bangles and cuffs of the same design.  This piece is solid sterling, with a square 14k yellow gold bezel surrounding a faceted blue topaz.  This piece is David Yurman’s “5mm Classic Cable Cuff”, and is 7 inches in circumference.  The square stone setting measure 9mm x 9mm.  With pouch.  Originally retailing approximately $650, our price is $349. CLIFTON NICHOLSON Collection (Each Sold Separately – See Below)

Since the 1970’s Clifton Nicholson has been creating natural casts of the flora and fauna seen “outside his window”, and has since been acclaimed and collected by those who love nature, art, and the creative, wearable way these two elements come together in Clifton’s imagination. 

Sadly, a fire recently rampaged his art studio, destroying many of the original casts along with it.  That being said, his vintage sculptures are now truly one-of-a-kind, and are even more collectible, as these pieces cannot be made again.

CLIFTON NICHOLSON Sterling and Lapis Ant Brooch – SOLD

From 1992, this stunningly accurate rendition of an ant has been fashioned into a sterling silver brooch with a large lapis lazuli abdomen.  The pin measures 2.75 inches in length, and 1.5 inches in width, and weighs 41.7 grams.  This lovely creature is priced at $299. SOLD

CLIFTON NICHOLSON Sterling Rose Earrings – SOLD

Clifton Nicholson had quite a following in Portland, Oregon as his collection was show-cased at Nordstrom in the late 1970’s, lending him to create a Portland Rose Collection.  These sterling rose earrings are finely crafted with leaves, rose buds, and a blossoming flower.  They have an omega French clip back, and measure 1.5 inches in length.  The pair weighs 22.8 grams of solid sterling.  Priced at $199. SOLD

CLIFTON NICHOLSON Sterling Rose Necklace on Black Cord – SOLD

A magnificent necklace to match the above earrings, this sterling rose is on Clifton’s signature black silk cord with sterling tips.  Knot to your own heart’s desired length, the cord measures 20 inches from the silver tips.  The stunning rose pendant measure 2.75 inches in length, and 2 inches in width, weighing approximately 150 grams.  Our price for this beautiful collectible is $449. CLIFTON NICHOLSON Scallop Shell Belt with Orange and Purple Cords

Clifton Nicholson used many shells in his work, and this orange and purple scallop shell on sterling is a unique rendition, using the colorful shell as a belt buckle.  Five silk cords in shades of orange and purple wrap the waist, and are connected by a signed sterling hook that can be moved throughout the cords for sizing preference.  From 1981, this piece is an early work, and the belt design is one-of-a-kind.  We have priced this piece of hip art at $399.

CLIFTON NICHOLSON Pink and Cream Banded Tiger Clam Shell Necklace on Cream Cord

Another amazing Clifton shell necklace, this one a large (4.5 inches in length from hook, 3.75 inches in width) pale pink and cream banded tiger clam set on sterling.  The cream silk cord is uniquely accented with long curved sterling tips.  Knot to your heart’s desired length, though this cord is longer than most, measuring 33 inches in length (66 inches total).  Our price for this fresh-looking and collectible piece from 1990 is $499. 

CLIFTON NICHOLSON Sterling Stingray Cuff – SOLD

Truly a work of art, and now a rare collectible, this amazing 203 grams of sterling has been fashioned into three stingrays swimming along side each other in a sculptural cuff.  This piece measure approximately 7 inches in circumference, and is 2.5 inches wide.  It is numbered 6 out of 100 made, and this cast would be one of which that can not be duplicated, as it was lost in the fire.  A brilliant piece of wearable art, this cuff is priced at $699.
