One of Phoebe Philo’s iconic designs was this line of luggage totes with feminine hourglass seam details. While this is the mini size, there is nothing mini about it. It is still a substantial size for hauling all your work essentials, but can also easily be used as an everyday handbag. Classic black pebbled leather is accented with raised curved seams for a simple dimensional contrast. Features a small zippered pocket at the front, a full zippered top and protective metal feet at the base. Interior is lined in black suede with one zippered and two open slot pockets. SAINT LAURENT Black and Taupe “Medium Bellechasse” Purse
For the past few seasons, Saint Laurent has offered this exceptionally sophisticated purse and it has been a hit with many clients who love that polished look. Today we have a like-new version, in a black leather with dark taupe suede accents and gold hardware. The purse is thoughtfully designed with an adjustable shoulder strap that can work across the body or along the shoulder. Additionally, the flap front is secure, yet features an easy access to interior, and opens in a slight accordion style making is simple to find any of your essentials. The Luco Tote by Louis Vuitton is a perfect carry all for the modern business woman. It’s structured sides and base make it one of the most durable styles offered by the French design house. This style was discontinued in 2006, creating a high collectible value on this smartly designed tote. The purse we have today is from 2003, but the condition proves the resilience of this style. Only the top leather handles show any signs of wear, with just a little natural patina darkening the original light tan leather. You can feel safe and secure while wearing this tote, as the top features a full zippered closure. Interior is lined in a beige suede and includes a zippered pocket and three slot style pockets. Add a luxurious edge to your Fall wardrobe with this amazing bronzey olive python crossbody from Italian favorite, Bottega Veneta. Bottega’s signature woven leather is more of an illusion in this purse. The python leather is not actually woven but is placed in alternating squares, creating a look of weave due to the opposite grains of the snake skin resting next to each other; natures own way of creating this layered pattern. One of our favorite details of this purse is the frame top opening that evokes a vintage aesthetic, but in reality makes this purse extremely functional; the wide opening will make finding any necessity that much easier. Our first of Chloé’s iconic Marcie collection is the medium shaped hobo style in the always desirable black pebbled leather. The shoulder strap is crafted out of a strip of leather that was wrapped in layers to create a ridge like design. This strap also drops just far enough to hold this hobo safe and securely under the arm. A flap front panel is detailed with curved horseshoe shaped seams and when opened, only provides access to a small slot pocket, main interior is used by opening full zippered top. Typically, the Cabas shape purses that feature side wing like panels, are large totes, so we find this compact version a refreshing style. Still large enough for all the daily essentials, this black leather satchel will not overwhelm any woman. Another painting in a handbag, and this one is an even more intricate depiction of a gorgeous nature scene. Johnathan Anderson debuted his line of both men’s and women’s fashion back in 2006 and has been impressing the London Fashion crowds ever since. He is still relatively unknown here in the States, and today he has landed here at Seams to Fit. The main body of this purse is crafted out of black leather with a black suede panel on front under flap. The front flap is fully adorned with a cream, black and orange scene of a bird sitting on a floating lily pad. Finished with a large silver O ring with bar center, the perfect device to grab when opening magnetic clasp under flap to access interior. Inside is lined in taupe suede and is divided into 2 main compartments. An additional zippered pocket is placed on backside of exterior. The faux leather has a subtle sheen to it that is only enhanced by the shiny silver chain that trims each edge and creates the crossbody strap. Simon Porte Jacquemus has been redefining the rules of French fashion for years with his avant-garde, sometimes surreal and often a little scandalous designs. His fresh take on classic designs are for the fashionistas that are willing to take a step outside the traditional box. The majority of his shoes feature opposite designs from foot to foot, and this slingback suede sandal is the prefect example of this. This scarf that was designed by Fred Rawyler in 2005 celebrates the ultimate source of life, WATER. This cream silk background is patterned with a concentric square spiral that shows the longest river in countries around the world in a taupe color, followed by the country and length of the river in black text. Water is the essential base of life, and it is becoming more and more precious in this world of ever changing and challenging climates. HERMÈS Blue and Gold ‘Carpe Diem’ Silk Scarf – SOLD
The bold and saturated colors of this celestial scarf are sure to pop on any outfit and impress all who can see this grandeur. Joachim Metz created this pattern back in 1994 but the symbolism is just as, if not more relevant in today’s world. “Seize the Day” or Carpe Diem reminds us all to slow down and appreciate the little things in life, a belief that can help us all appreciate that this moment we are in, is itself, enough. The pattern shows multiple images of the splendors of life, centered with this multi-layered opulent sun center surrounded by a moon and stars with the hours of time counting along the bottom. A golden frame is adorned with flowers and wheat to show the abundance of flora the world provides, and a final outer border is reminiscent of blue marble. Measures 35″ by 35″ square. Priced at $299. HERMÈS Pink ‘H en Bias’ by Joachim Metz Silk Scarf – SOLD
Joachim Metz is on of Hermès’ most often used pattern designers, and we have one more to showcase today. This piece was first released in 2005 and shows a full background of dark pink H letters on a lighter pink background, separated only by solid pink lines on the bias. A small grid pattern outlines this border of this square scarf creating a very geometric pattern that is quite eye catching. The geo-style continues at the base where HERMÈS PARIS is shown in a futuristic font that reminds us of a video game, very unique for the traditional French design house. Measures 35″ by 35″ square. HERMÈS ‘Cheval Turc’ by Christiane Vauzelles Silk Scarf – SOLD
Our final Hermès scarf today is another rich blue and gold pattern, but this time depicting the Turkish equestrian culture. One of the first patterns ever made, back in 1969, this is a perfect scarf for the ultimate collector. A royal blue background frame is adorned with floral filigree, while both a turban and a bow with a quiver of arrows alternate each corner. The center focal point shows a Turkish man dressed for a long ride, leading his horse who is carrying all of his essentials for the journey and hunt ahead of him. Adorn yourself with organic beauty in this slice of raw emerald surrounded by diamonds and hanging from a delicately chunky teardrop or pear shaped chain. This necklace was custom made by L FRANK, she added this unique pendant to a chain that is a staple in her collection. A teardrop shaped slice of raw emerald is encased in 18k yellow gold with small pavé set diamonds along the bale. This pendant measures just over 1 1/4″ in total drop (including bale) for a delicate statement. Pendant is removable so you can use this chain alone of to pair with another drop in your collection. Another amazing option to celebrate your love is this 14k white gold band that features a 0.75 carat radiant cut diamond front and center. This diamond is held up in a prong cathedral setting that features a V shape head where band connects to prongs. Platinum and Diamond Vintage Ring Size 6.25 – SOLD
Our third wedding band today is for the girl with the vintage aesthetic. This platinum band is designed in a decorative and micro detail that is only found in vintage settings. A European cut diamond is the centerpiece of this ring that is surrounded by 14 smaller diamonds that only enhance the sparkle of the main stone. Center diamond is 0.58 carats with a I-J color and VVS1 clarity rating. Smaller diamonds add another 0.20 carats for a total of 0.78 total weight. Size 6.25.
