CHANEL Black Crochet Knit Flap Bag – SOLD
This compact flap bag from the 2004 collection is an unique crochet style that will stand out amidst a sea of leather bags. Black yarn is woven in a simple pattern that resembles floral lace. Finished with canvas attachments on top of purse where a silver chain strap can be pulled through to use as a single strap hanging long on your shoulder, or a double it up for a shorter style that will sit securely right under the arm. Silver CC detail on front flap is attached to a snap button clasp underneath that opens to a canvas lined interior with one zippered pocket. Slight color loss on edges of canvas pieces, but all yarn within the crochet is perfectly intact. Measures 9″ [W] x 5.5″ [H] x 2.5″ [D] with an 8.5″ double strap and 15″ single strap drop. A small tote that is perfect for the tailored and feminine style. Tan lambskin is quilted in a square pattern that keep the lines on this piece simple and clean. This purse from 2004, is embellished with CC etched gunmetal hardware at the base of each top handle. Interior is lined in a logo printed satin with a zippered pocket on each side of interior. Bold yet streamlined, this envelope style shoulder bag is designed in diamond shaped color blocking. A black leather base is accented with red suede along sides and a tan leather base panel. A silver push lock front clasp opens to reveal an accordion style interior with two main compartments made of red suede. HERMÈS ‘Tsitsika’ Scarf By Kermit Oliver – SOLD
We have told Kermit Oliver’s story before, but it bears repeating. He is the only American artist that Hermès works with, and his designs are so intricate that the life of the Native American’s he represents practically pop off the silk. This design, that was first issued in 2002, celebrates the culture of the tribes that live in the Pacific Northwest and Canada, particularly the Kwakiutl tribe. Not only are Oliver’s designs the most collectible of all Hermès pieces, this one represents our region and will be a fitting tribute to the cultures who loved this land before us. A dark navy border frames the brightly printed design that features multiple totem poles, a plethora of our regional wildlife and elegantly adorned members of the tribe. Measures a 35″ square. This looks like it could be a part of Gucci’s current playful collection, but this is actually a vintage silk scarf from the early 1970’s. Designed by Vittorio Accornero, this gorgeous piece highlights all the amazing animals found in a jungle. Each animal is depicted in vibrant and bold colors that really bring them to life. The king of the jungle, the lion, sits in the corner guarding the Gucci logo from all of the crazy monkeys playing around him.
