LOUIS VUITTON Brown ‘Marylebone GM Damier Ebene’ Shoulder Bag – SOLD

From the 2014 Collection, this handsome handbag is in like-new condition.  The “Damier” checkered signature canvas is in a rounded tote style, and has two leather top handles, which sit comfortably on the shoulder.  The open top can be secured with a clip clasp just inside the upper center of the bag, and the sides can expand ever so slightly with hidden snaps along the perimeter.  The “Marylebone” opens to reveal brown suede lining, and a large zipped pocket along the back, with two fairly large open pockets along the front side.  The base of the bag has four “feet” for additional durability.  Size 12.5″ [W] x 11.75″ [H] x 6″ [D], with a shoulder drop of 9 inches.  In near new condition, with dust bag.  The “Marylebone GM Damier Ebene” shoulder bag originally retailed for $1,810, our price is $1,200. A traditional shoe made modern with its pointed toe and unique color-blocked combination.  Versatile from day to night, and perfect for any season, these navy leather loafers by Céline are delightfully contrasted with a hunter green vamp, and the pointed toe gives them a bit of stylish flare.  Size 7.5 (European 38).  These fun flats originally retailed approximately $750, our price is $249.

CHANEL Vintage Gold-Tone Button Clip Earrings – SOLD

From Chanel’s 1997 Fall Collection, these stunning clip earrings are fabulously bold, while still maintaining an organic, neutral finish.  The gold-tone ridged frame surrounds a raised brass “button” center, and Chanel’s trademark CC’s sit along the base, adding to their glamour.  Size 30mm x 35mm.  With box. DAVID YURMAN 5mm Sterling ‘Classic Cable Cuff’ with 14K and Blue Topaz – SOLD

A fantastic bracelet for the Yurman lover; perfect to wear on its own, or paired with a stack of collectible bangles and cuffs of the same design.  This piece is solid sterling, with a square 14k yellow gold bezel surrounding a faceted blue topaz.  This piece is David Yurman’s “5mm Classic Cable Cuff”, and is 7 inches in circumference.  The square stone setting measure 9mm x 9mm.  With pouch.  Originally retailing approximately $650, our price is $349. CLIFTON NICHOLSON Collection (Each Sold Separately – See Below)

Since the 1970’s Clifton Nicholson has been creating natural casts of the flora and fauna seen “outside his window”, and has since been acclaimed and collected by those who love nature, art, and the creative, wearable way these two elements come together in Clifton’s imagination. 

Sadly, a fire recently rampaged his art studio, destroying many of the original casts along with it.  That being said, his vintage sculptures are now truly one-of-a-kind, and are even more collectible, as these pieces cannot be made again.

CLIFTON NICHOLSON Sterling and Lapis Ant Brooch – SOLD

From 1992, this stunningly accurate rendition of an ant has been fashioned into a sterling silver brooch with a large lapis lazuli abdomen.  The pin measures 2.75 inches in length, and 1.5 inches in width, and weighs 41.7 grams.  This lovely creature is priced at $299. SOLD

CLIFTON NICHOLSON Sterling Rose Earrings – SOLD

Clifton Nicholson had quite a following in Portland, Oregon as his collection was show-cased at Nordstrom in the late 1970’s, lending him to create a Portland Rose Collection.  These sterling rose earrings are finely crafted with leaves, rose buds, and a blossoming flower.  They have an omega French clip back, and measure 1.5 inches in length.  The pair weighs 22.8 grams of solid sterling.  Priced at $199. CLIFTON NICHOLSON Sterling Rose Necklace on Black Cord – SOLD

A magnificent necklace to match the above earrings, this sterling rose is on Clifton’s signature black silk cord with sterling tips.  Knot to your own heart’s desired length, the cord measures 20 inches from the silver tips.  The stunning rose pendant measure 2.75 inches in length, and 2 inches in width, weighing approximately 150 grams.  Our price for this beautiful collectible is $449. CLIFTON NICHOLSON Scallop Shell Belt with Orange and Purple Cords

Clifton Nicholson used many shells in his work, and this orange and purple scallop shell on sterling is a unique rendition, using the colorful shell as a belt buckle.  Five silk cords in shades of orange and purple wrap the waist, and are connected by a signed sterling hook that can be moved throughout the cords for sizing preference.  From 1981, this piece is an early work, and the belt design is one-of-a-kind.  We have priced this piece of hip art at $399.

CLIFTON NICHOLSON Pink and Cream Banded Tiger Clam Shell Necklace on Cream Cord

Another amazing Clifton shell necklace, this one a large (4.5 inches in length from hook, 3.75 inches in width) pale pink and cream banded tiger clam set on sterling.  The cream silk cord is uniquely accented with long curved sterling tips.  Knot to your heart’s desired length, though this cord is longer than most, measuring 33 inches in length (66 inches total).  Our price for this fresh-looking and collectible piece from 1990 is $499. 

CLIFTON NICHOLSON Sterling Stingray Cuff – SOLD

Truly a work of art, and now a rare collectible, this amazing 203 grams of sterling has been fashioned into three stingrays swimming along side each other in a sculptural cuff.  This piece measure approximately 7 inches in circumference, and is 2.5 inches wide.  It is numbered 6 out of 100 made, and this cast would be one of which that can not be duplicated, as it was lost in the fire.  A brilliant piece of wearable art, this cuff is priced at $699. LAVENDER JADE and DIAMOND 14K Gold Ring, Size 6.75

A fun and fashionable cocktail ring with a bit of elegance and verve.  This vintage, deco-inspired 14k yellow gold ring is architecturally banded in a curved, tiered effect with 9 diamonds (weight: 0.29 cttw, color: I-J, clarity: SI-1-2) “stair-stepping” throughout the setting.  The figure-eight switchback glittering prongs surrounds an oval lavender jade cabochon (approximately 6.37 carats).  Size 6.75.  With appraisal, this lovely ring is valued at $1,975.  Our price is $849.

PLATINUM and DIAMOND Articulated Bracelet

A gorgeous piece, this platinum and diamond bracelet is fully articulated by each stem link, creating a linear elegance.  There are 9 round, brilliant cut diamonds, weighing a total of nearly 2 carats (weight: 1.80 cttw, color: range F, clarity: VS and SI).  It measures 7.5 inches in circumference, and is secured by a push-button with safety clasp.  This piece has movement, not only via the setting, but also in the sparkle.  With appraisal, this piece is valued at $8,000.  Our price is $4,000.

Brand new, with tags, this simple, fresh, and feminine dress is a lovely lady-like example of casual elegance.  The dark taupe acetate/viscose blend hangs with intention, and moves with a luxurious flirt through the waist and skirting.  Dark silver “monili” beads accent the shoulder straps, and a thin brown leather belt gathers the dress from the back, adding to the effortlessly chic look.  Hidden welt pockets at the hip.  Size 6.  Brand new, this piece retailed for $1,160, our price is $499.

PRADA Black, Grey, and Turquoise Python-Printed Silk Dress, Size 6 – SOLD

Pretty in python, this edgy print is cut into a delicate silk shift dress.  Feminine ruffles cascade down the front of the piece, while a long tie hangs down the back of the neck.  This airy sheath is completed by a black silk slip with lace accents.  Size 6.  Priced at $399.  SOLD

YOSHIKI HISHINUMA Green with Pink and Orange Painted Floral Cut Polyurethane Blouse, Size M – SOLD

A well-known designer in Japan, but little-known here in the United States, Yoshiki Hishinuma is recognized for his unique, origami-influenced clothing that also takes from elements of wind and air in his couture designs.  Frustrated with traditional textiles, Yoshiki created his own materials, including this interesting experiment in polyurethane.  This piece is truly unparalleled in its painted laser cut, paper-like fabric;    gauzy and rubberized in texture, but organic in movement and flutter.  This blouse is a statement in fashion and art combined.  Size M.  Priced at $199. Straight from the shelves of the coveted current Gucci collection comes this deep red pebbled leather satchel with a signature interlocking GG front detail in an antiqued brass.  Convertible in its design, this purse can be carried elegantly by the top handles, or casually across the body or along the shoulder with removable longer strap.  Flap front opens with a push lock hidden clasp that opens to a wide cream canvas lined interior with one zippered and two slim slot pockets.  Finished with a menswear inspired tie detail on top handle and brass hardware.  Measures 12″ [W] x 9″ [H] x 5″ [D] with a 3.5″ top handle and 18.5″ maximum shoulder strap drop.  Sold with original dust bag.  Currently retails for $2,500, priced at $1,500. CHANEL 1992 Tomato Red Quilted Mini Cross body Purse – SOLD

Another vintage gem from French powerhouse Chanel is this retro style mini flap bag with curved horizontal quilting from 1992.  Designed as a double flap style with first flap opening via the gold CC turn lock front clasp revealing the main leather lined compartment with one slim side pocket.  Second flap opens with a hidden snap button into a slim front pocket.  One additional pocket was added on the backside of purse, where Coco traditionally kept her cash for valets.  Finished with a gold chain and leather long shoulder strap that is long enough to wear across the body.  Measures 6.75″ [W] x 5″ [H] x 2.75″ [D] with a 20″ strap drop.  Priced at $1,300. PRADA Black ‘Tessuto Nylon and Saffiano Leather Duffel Bag’ – SOLD

Spring season has officially begun, so we can break out some of our espadrilles, especially if they are still closed toe.  These wine colored leather flats from Céline are a perfect style to take you through March and beyond.  Designed in a smoking slipper style with a woven straw sole trim, these flats will go with any ankle length pant or jean for the perfect casual, yet stylish ensemble.  Finished with a thin grosgrain ribbon trim along edges of top of foot.  Sold with original box and dustbags.  Retailed for $450, priced at $189.

HERMÈS ‘La Legende du Poisson Corail’ – SOLD

Get ready for Easter with this colorful silk scarf with bold pinks and green colors that depict a abstract fish and coral spiral pattern.  This gorgeous piece by Christine Henry features a spiral of fish within the center with two separate borders depicting all the types of coral under the sea.  This bright and bold color scheme is a collectible piece for the die hard Hermès fans.  Measures a 35″ square.  Priced at $299. HERMÈS ‘Splendeur des Maharajahs II’ – SOLD

Hermès designer, Catherine Baschet, often celebrates a variety of cultures in her patterns.  This silk scarf depicts her second design that shows the Splendors of the Maharjas, the formal title for a historic Indian prince.  This piece first designed in 1996, shows the happenings of a typical night of entertainment for these royal members.  The night is complete with dancers, hookah pipes and elegantly adorned women.  The earthy tones of browns, mauve and gold ground this piece and cement it as a piece of history.   Measures a 35″ square.  Sold with original box.  Priced at $279. HERMÈS ‘Carre Kantha’ Scarf – SOLD

Our last, but not least scarf of the day is this light green based scarf from 2008.  There is  no Hermès artist specifically attributed to this pattern, but was inspired by traditional Indian patterns.  A mosaic inspired circle rests in the middle of this design made of multiple shades of green and orange.  Circling the center is a mix of scattered leaves, elephants, tigers and the signature H for Hermès, adding the little designer touch to this traditional print.   Measures a 35″ square.  Priced at $249. SOLD

JEWELRY:

PIAGET Vintage Watch

We have a true vintage collectible to offer today in this 18k white gold and diamond watch by Piaget, a watch manufacturer based in Geneva since 1874.   This piece was estimated by our gemologist to have been created in the 1970’s, but it’s classic design is timeless.  The 18k white gold is crafted in a smooth and flat woven chevron link style with a round face trimmed in diamonds.  A total of 36 round brilliant cut diamonds line the edge of this watch’s face, for a total of approximately, .90 carats.  Back of watch is secured with a fold over snap style clasp.  Slight discoloring has happened along the gold of the face, but is natural due to the age of the watch.  Face measures 24.5 mm in diameter and watch is a total of 6.75″ in length.  Functions as a wind up watch, so no need to replace batteries throughout its lifetime, but will need to be wound regularly.  Sold with current appraisal valued at $6,500.  Priced at $3,200.

14k Yellow Gold and Opal Ring Size 6.25

Make a statement on your finger with this 14k yellow gold floral dome ring with opals within each intricately filigreed petal design.  Each of the eleven cabachon cut opals are prong set into the gold canopy with six of the stones arranged as a floral pattern in the center.  A triple wire shank comes together at the side of the ring to form a solid foundation for this 26.5 mm large dome top.   Size 6.25.  Sold with current appraisal valued at $2,050, priced at $899.

14K Yellow Gold, Diamond and Malachite Ring Size 6

We love the sleek design of this retro inspired ring that features a green malachite stone that curves along the inlay of one side of the ring.  A white gold band rests in the center of the ring with 3 bead set diamonds within.  An 18k yellow gold mounting compromises the opposite shoulder of the ring to juxtapose the opposite stone.  Size 6.  Sold with current appraisal valued at $1,775, priced at $799.

14K White Gold Black and White Diamond Ring Size 6.75

Add a little dark and bright bling to your hand with this 14k white gold ring that features both white and black diamonds.  The center of the white gold band features 36 round brilliant cut diamonds that are bead set, these diamonds are then accented by a cross over ribbon of 26 white round single cut diamonds.  Ring has an estimated total of .49 carats with a tapered shank in back.  Size 6.75.  Sold with current appraisal valued at $1,075, priced at $499.

LOUIS VUITTON 2013 ‘Pallas Monogram Quetsche’ Shoulder Bag – SOLD

French for the Damson Plum, “Quetsche” describes the rich dark purple leather peek-a-boo zip-top along the upper ridge of the bag.  Louis Vuitton’s signature canvas comprises the body, while the plum leather slides deep down both front and back, adding two exterior wide open pockets.  The secured double-zipped frame opens to reveal matching “quetsche” suede lining, with three interior open pockets.  The adjustable shoulder strap (11.75″ – 13.75″ drop) can be removed to convert to a lady-like handbag.  In wonderful, like-new condition, with dust bag.  Size 14.5″ [W] x 9.5″ [H] x 4.75″ [D].  The “Pallas Monogram Quetsche” currently retails for $2,540, our price is $1,600. NANCY GONZALEZ Salmon-Colored Crocodile ‘Large Leaf Tote’

Colombian designer, Nancy Gonzalez, is known for her exotic skin bags, and the “Large Leaf Tote” is one of her more iconic styles.  Completely comprised of crocodile skin dyed in a fantastic salmon color (lending itself to be more pink than the orange photos let on).  Light tan suede keeps the interior visible despite its depth, and a hidden magnetic closure secures the top of the tote.  In new condition, with dust bag and small mirror.  Size 16″ [W] x 14″ [H] x 4.5″ [D].  Originally retailing for $3,950, our price is $1,500. 

CHANEL 1986 Navy Quilted Lambskin Drawstring Bucket Bag – SOLD

While the founder of Givenchy, Hubert de Givenchy, passed away at the age of 91 this week, his legacy lives on through his world-renowned luxury fashion-house.  First made famous by collaborating with Audrey Hepburn in the 1950’s, designing the dress she wore in “Breakfast At Tiffany’s”, and then continuing his own inspiring approach to elegant style; he has been a coveted name by all who love fashion.

HERMÈS ‘Tsitsika’ Scarf By Kermit Oliver – SOLD

We have told Kermit Oliver’s story before, but it bears repeating.  He is the only American artist that Hermès works with, and his designs are so intricate that the life of the Native American’s he represents practically pop off the silk.  This design, that was first issued in 2002, celebrates the culture of the tribes that live in the Pacific Northwest and Canada, particularly the Kwakiutl tribe.  Not only are Oliver’s designs the most collectible of all Hermès pieces, this one represents our region and will be a fitting tribute to the cultures who loved this land before us.  A dark navy border frames the brightly printed design that features multiple totem poles, a plethora of our regional wildlife and elegantly adorned members of the tribe.  Measures a 35″ square.  Sold with protective box.  Priced at $549. HERMÈS ‘Kosmima’ by Julia Abadie Cashmere/Silk Shawl – SOLD

We now travel to ancient Greece in this next fine knit cashmere silk shawl.  Designed by Julia Adabie in 1994 this shawl has the traditional colors that Hermès collectors are looking for, red, blue, and gold.  The title loosely translates to a Jewelry Trade Show in the Greek language.  You can see from all the gold medallion jewelry that this certainly celebrates the artisan culture of Ancient Greece.  A large Medusa head is centered in this design with loads of jewel encrusted medallion style necklaces framing the whole piece.  Edge of shawl is outlined in a solid red border.  Size 55 x 55 inches square.  Retailed for $1,100, priced at $499. LOUIS VUITTON Black Epi Leather ‘Tilsitt Pochette’ – SOLD

We always say fashion trends come full circle and the evolution of the fanny pack to belt bag is one perfect example.  This black epi leather pouch was originally designed in 1991 when fanny packs were all the rage, but is equally usable today, when the practicality of a hands free bag has come back into major fashion.  We might call them belt bags today, but they symbolize the fact that easy to use pieces will always have their rightful place in this world.  Flap front has a snap button clasp that opens to a leather lined compartment that has no other organizing pockets.  Belt loops in back measure 1 1/4″ wide, so can only be used with your thin to medium width belts.   Size 6.75″ [W] x 5″ [H].  Priced at $229. H. Stern is highly treasured jewelry designer from Brazil, so much so, that they are commonly referred to the “Tiffany of Brazil”.  This solid 18K yellow gold band and bezel creates a simple square frame for this sparkling princess cut diamond that will shine alone or stacked with other bands.  Diamond weighs in at 0.29 cts., with a G-H color range and a VS2-SI1 clarity.  Size 6.25.  Sold with current retail value paperwork.  Originally retailed approximately $2,600.  Our price is $1,300. 14K Necklace and Diamond Bezel Surrounding a 22K 1945 Mexican Dos Pesos Coin Pendant

Wear a small piece of Mexican history along your collar with this 1945 Dos Pesos bullion coin pendant necklace.  This historic coin has been modernized with a 14k white gold bezel detailed with 19 round brilliant cut diamonds.  Diamonds  measure a total of 0.39 carats with a G-H-I color range and SI1 clarity rating.  The yellow gold of the coin is matched and continued with the 14k yellow gold coiled rope chain that the pendant hangs from.  Pendant is easily removed to use chain for other pedants if desired.  Pendant measures just over an inch in length, including diamond bail, and 5/8″ in width, hangs from a 16″ chain.  Sold with current appraisal, valuing the necklace at $3,000.  Our price is $1,500.

Another stunning example of H. Stern’s designs is this statement amethyst cocktail ring exploding with diamonds.  One amazingly large and deeply colored amethyst sits at the center of this crown setting.  This stone is a square faceted step cut measuring 10.61 x 10.16 mm and weighing 5.69 carats.  A pierced bowed out gallery creates a flower like setting with diamonds encrusting each of the 16 petal leafs.  A total of 68 diamonds adorn the setting with diamonds totaling an estimated weight of 0.90 cttw, with a G-H color and VS-1-2 clarity range.  Size 6.5.  With appraisal, the ring is valued at $3,300, our price is $1,800.
