We love our local designers. From Anna Cohen and Amai Unmei to Same Underneath and Elizabeth Dye, their unique talents show the diverse fashion talent we have here in little old in Portland. And it makes us burst with pride when one of our own receives national attention. For over 100 years, Pendleton Woolen Mills has embraced Native American designs and legends in their intricately patterned clothing and blankets. In 2002, Pendleton began a new transformation; partnering with hipster haven Opening Ceremony who adopted their vibrant colors and heritage prints. The New York-based boutique has since created three collections in collaboration with Pendleton, combining the eclectic urban design aesthetic of New York with the traditional and beautiful Native American fabrics of the Northwest.
